About Me
I’m Lorraine Delp, an editor, writer, and content manager with over ten years of experience in the publishing industry.
As an editor, I’m dedicated to helping authors write their best drafts, whether that involves polishing grammar and spelling or diving deeply into elements like character, plot, and theme.
As a content manager, I create order out of chaos by establishing and refining processes, managing projects, and communicating with stakeholders to achieve goals on deadline.
Experience
In the past ten years, I’ve played with words in every role I’ve filled: copywriter, blogger, teacher, and editor. I’ve created or edited books, articles, newsletters, social media posts, email campaigns, technical documentation, internal training and documentation, and so much more. I’m currently leading a team of editors at a SaaS company and spend my days navigating the challenges of an ambitious publishing schedule by creating efficient processes that lead to high-quality results.
Education
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with honors, from the University of Texas at San Antonio. During my time there, I concentrated in Creative Writing and minored in Computer Science. In 2019, I earned my graduate Master of Education degree in Teaching from the University of Arizona.
